Blank or Missing Items on Web Orders - Shopify
Problem
A product within a Shopify Order IS NOT created in Indigo8.
The goal is to ensure the missing product is mapped and linked to the corresponding product in Indigo8.
As seen below if you search your WEB orders, you will notice that the item is NOT appearing on the order.
Solution
Ensure the item is in your Website Updater and all ID’s are correct, then add the style to your order.
STEP 1: Search for the Style in Website Updater
STEP 2: Check the Product ID’s are correct
STEP 3: Check the Variant ID’s are correct
STEP 4: Add the style to your Indigo8 order

Search for the Style in Website Updater
Note: If the style is in Website Updater, please proceed to STEP: 2
If the style is NOT in Website Updater, you need to add it back in
Search the style in the Product Tab
Select the item and drag it into Website Updater , or select the item and press ‘GET ITEMS’
Once in the Website Updater, make sure your Style is assigned to your desired Menus/Collections
2. Check the Product ID’s are correct
Right click on the product and select ‘VIEW SHOPIFY PRODUCT ID’ in Indigo8
Match the ID to the style in Shopify Admin
Note: If your Shopify Product in Indigo8 and Shopify match, please proceed to STEP: 3
If your Product ID’s do NOT match, paste the ID from your Shopify admin into Indigo8
3. Check the Variant ID’s are correct
Right Click on your product in Indigo8 and select ‘VIEW SHOPIFY VARIANT ID’
Note: If your Shopify Variant ID’s Match and you have not identified any issues from STEP: 1 & 2, please contact us to investigate further.The ‘GROUPED VARIANT ID POPUP’ will open
If the ‘VARIANT ID’ column is red, click ‘SYNC VARIANT’ to automatically match IDS - this will usually be the case if you have updated the product ID.
In the event of an error message after clicking ‘SYNC VARIANT’ you will need to manually check and update the IDs.
Click a variant in the Shopify Admin
For each size variant
The barcode from Indigo8 must be input into the SKU and barcode field in the SHOPIFY admin
The variant ID from SHOPIFY must be entered into Indigo8
4. Add the style to your Indigo8 order
OPEN YOUR INDIGO8 ORDER
1. Click ADD STYLE
2. Type in the style number or style name on the pop up click SEARCH
3. Enter ADD TO ORDER. Once you add it to the order it should appear on the sales order. Then you can enter your quantity in.
4. Generate the SO to make the order ACTIVE so it can be shipped
The final step is to make sure the UNIT PRICE, ORDER TOTAL and PAID amount match the Web Order.
If not, you will need to adjust the unit price manually.
