Click and Collect orders (main warehouse)

Shopify’s Native Local pickup functionality is compatible with I8 warehouse screens

If you are dispatching from multi locations, this feature requires the combined inventory setup in your Indigo8 website settings along with Location ID’s stored in your warehouse settings.

The Click and Collect orders will look like this in Indigo8 with a pink CLICK COLLECT label

The CLICK COLLECT orders have a Pink label and two buttons under the Courier Column

When the order is ‘Packed’ the Ready for Pickup button will turn green

Click the ‘Ready For Pickup’ button and the Shopify order will be updated and Shopify messaging will let the customer know their order is ready

Indigo8 also update notes on the Shopify order

When the customer has picked up their order, you can mark the order as complete by using the ‘Picked Up’ button

The notes on the Shopify will be updated with timestamps from the store and the order will become ‘fulfilled’. In Indigo8, the order will now be invoiced and the stock deducted from inventory.

FAQ

Q. What happens if I don’t an item?
A. If the click and collect order is multi items and you are only fulfiling one item, it’s recommended you refund the out of stock item first.

Then you can follow these steps in Indigo8
- Delete the item that can’t be removed from the order

- Create a negative payment to reflect the refund so that the paid and total value match

NOTE: For Multi Item orders
The Shopify notification sent to customers includes all items on the order, so it’s important to refund before marking the order ready for pickup, so the refunded item is reflected on the email as ‘refunded’.
