How To Process Store Transfers For Online Orders

This function is used when the retail store stock is being allocated to online orders but the order is being dispatched from the main warehouse. The store can confirm they have the stock for the orders from the POS dashboard, then create the transfers to the main warehouse.

  1. The transfer screen will appear on the POS home page on the right side

  2. An order will be yellow when it is waiting to be picked

  3. To begin, type in a Bin Name and press Enter on your key board to save it.
    - This is a virtual bin used to group all styles being picked that need to be transferred.
    - IMPORTANT: The user can use the same bin location for all orders throughout the day. Then when they are ready, they load the bin location to process the transfer for all orders/stock that was picked.
    - Typically, we would recommend something that includes the date, but it can be whatever you need it to be. E.g. i8-05-09-23

  4. Once you have created the bin name click on the required order and choose between the ‘Have It’ and ‘don’t have it' button depending on if you have the stock of that style or not.

  5. HAVE IT
If you select the Have It button a pop up window will appear showing the details of the style and will also let you know what bin the style will be attached to.

Once the ‘I have put the item aside to be sent’ button has been selected the style pop up window will turn green and the order in the right hand side will turn blue and grey.

    DONT HAVE IT
If you don’t have the stock available then the Don’t Have It button will need to be selected. Once selected, a warning pop up will appear to let you know that inventory will be checked to see if it can be fulfilled elsewhere. You will need to press yes if you wish to proceed.

  6. Once you have clicked the Have It button you will need to select the blue Transfer Out button located in the bottom right corner and enter your POS pin

  7. The Transfer Out button will take you to the Transfer Stock screen. From here you will need to select the New Transfer button to begin creating your transfer.

  8. To bring up the styles that need to be transferred, type in your bin number into the bin field.

  9. Select the store/warehouse that you want to send the transfer to from the drop down menu and make sure the qty is correct

  10. Once everything looks good, press the Process Transfer button down the bottom. a pop up window will appear asking if you would like to proceed, click yes or no.

  11. Once the transfer is complete a confirmation pop up will appear and from here you can pick the packing list
