Returns - RA receive function

To use this feature, you will need to enable the RA return scan mode in the Web Pick and Pack module Maintenance. And your Returns warehouse will need to be defaulted to your Main physical warehouse

Enter your MLID (Mailing Location ID) obtained from your Australia Post account. This needs to be entered to allow the system recognise the barcode on the Australia Post label.

In the Returns Tab, you are able to enter customer name, returns number and order number or scan the returns label barcode to open up the related RA.

Once the return is selected, you can then proceed to scan the items that are being returned.

In the case of the returned item that does not have the barcode label to be scanned, you are able to click the style shown on screen to select them. Once the item is selected or scanned, it will be marked as orange and you will see the recommended bin location for that item. You can either add the return style directly to the actual bin location, or add the item to a holding bin for that general location by scanning the bin location in.

If the item is not returned, you are able to mark item as not received this will not insert the stock back when you are processing the RA.

You are able to mark a bin as a Faulty bin by selecting the Bin type that has been tagged as NOT FOR PICKING and NOT FOR STOCK. This will be your holding Bin for all the damaged item that will not be returned to stock. Anything that is scanned to a ‘Not for stock” bin type will not be returned back to stock.

When all product have been scanned, you can either press apply or continue to scan the next return label to close the RA in Glass. This process will add the stock back to your warehouse by processing/ closing the RA.
