Ambassador Setting

Customers marked as ‘Ambassador’ in Glass contact settings will now have a badge and the discount amount (entered on the contact in Glass) will be automatically deducted when they’re added to a sale.

To turn this setting on go to Settings > Contacts > 'Show Ambassador label when processing a sale. There will also be a field that allows you to edit the label that will appear on these customers e.g. influencer, media, friends & family etc.

There will be a section on the customers details that show the customer is an ambassador and the percentage discount they’re entitled to.

This setting allows you to clearly see when a customer is an ‘ambassador’ and is eligible for a certain discount.

Returns Process (Exchange or Refund)

Give the option to remove the ‘Do Not Return to Stock’ button when processing a return.

A setting has been added to toggle off an on Settings > Returns, Laybys, Discounts and Vouchers > Returns > ‘Allow option to NOT RETURN stock to inventory when processing a return’.

You will need to have it toggled OFF if you don’t want this button to appear.

When this is turned off it means that you will only have the option to return the stock to inventory

Manager pin is required if return is past the return timeframe

To toggle this on and off you go to Settings > Personnel & Security > Manager Access Settings > ‘Exceeds Returns Days’ tick box

 

This allows a manager to easily approve a return with their pin that is past the return timeframe but if a sale is within timeframe then a pin won’t be required.

New Transfer

Writing a comment in the comment field can be made mandatory in the settings. To toggle this off and on go to Settings > General > Store Transfers > ‘Comment field is mandatory when creating a new transfer’

If staff are required to enter a comment for every transfer then you can toggle this setting on and it won’t allow you to proceed with the transfer until a comment has been entered
