Applying Discounts To A Sale

This article guides you through how to apply a discount to a sale

 

Adding a Product Discount

  1. A discount can be added to each style in the sales order. To add the discount click on the 0.00 in the ‘Disc’ column and a pop up will appear.

     

  2. From here you can enter the discount value and choose between % and $.

     

  3. Once you select the Apply button the discount will be added to that line item and be deducted from the total sale value.

     

Adding a transaction discount

  1. Click on Discount at the bottom of the screen and it will open a pop window where you can type in the discount value and choose between % and $




  2. Once you select the Apply button you will see the discount value show next to Global Discount down the bottom of the screen and it will also be deducted off the total value.



Applying a promotional discount

  1. Click on Discount at the bottom of the screen and it will open a pop window where you can select from one of the Promotion Squares. For more information on setting up Promotion Squares please click here.

     

  2. Once you click the Apply button you will notice the discount will be listed next to Global Discount and will state what promotion square has been applied. It will also deduct from the total value of the order.
