Product Glossary

Below defines all the fields held against a style.

A lot of the fields can be found in PRODUCTS > EDIT VISIBLE FIELDS.

Style #	Unique style number defined on a style	Important fields use in the Exporter and Importer screen or General System Reporting This is also main requirements before generating a GS1 code in the system. Also use to search if need to filter specific style in Product screen, SO, PO, Warehouse, SO Alloc, and Web Updater
Style Description	Style name given to the style	Important fields use in the Exporter and Importer screen. To easily identify the product trend
Size	Size variant of the style	Important fields use in the Exporter and Importer Screen or General System Reporting This is also one requirements before generating a GS1 code in the system.
Colours	One Colour Per Style Multiple Colours Per Style	Important fields use in the Exporter and Importer Screen or General System Reporting This is also one requirements before generating a GS1 code in the system.
Make Price Buy Price		General System Reporting Use for PO price or Bills
Wholesale Retail Sale Price		General System Reporting Use for STD orders
3 Level Categories	Level 1 Category - Department Level 2 Category - Product Group Level 3 Category - Products	When user add items to B2B we use this to categorize the product, it can also use as filtering the items on site.
Brand/Division	If you have multiple brands within your business	General System Reporting Mapped as a Shopify Field When agents use Indigo8, we use this field to restrict certain products
Supplier/Maker	Maker of Product	Used when creating purchase orders Enter PO BILLS to send to XERO
Composition	The materials or ingredients that make up the product.	Important field used throughout the system: Joor intergration Commercial Invoices Sales order & invoice PDFs Fabric PO’s Sales Reporting - if you need to report on this field
Main Fabric	The primary material used in textile products.	Similar field as per above however this is the name given to the fabric. Can be used on the Commercial invoice Sales order & invoice PDFs Fabric PO’s Sales Reporting - if you need to report on this field
Season	The time of year the product is designed for (e.g., Summer, Winter).	Sales Reporting - if you need to report on this field PO Reporting - if you need to report on seasonality A better field to use is LINE NAME as this defines the actual year and season name in one description which can be more meaningful.
Line Prefix	This is typically an abbreviation of a line name such as SS25, FW26. ( Red arrow below)	Sales Reporting - if you need to report on this field PO Reporting - if you need to report on a particular collection
Line Name	This is typically the line/collection name which can include the season & year also. For example, Summer Breeze 2024	Sales Reporting - if you need to report on this field PO Reporting - if you need to report on a particular collection
Pattern #	A unique identifier for a product’s design.	A design or model number that the pattern maker uses to identify a pattern. Otherwise used as a secondary style code - typically a supplier would have their own dedicated style numbers.
Style Comments	Notes regarding product details attached to certain styles	If you have special instruction or adjustment in the item, you can use this style comment fields
Website Description	Product description that will be displayed on Shopify Website	A long description to describe the product typically used for Shopify/Iconic integrations.
Website Image	Pictures of the product that appear on Shopify Site	Referred to as SELL IMAGES. Used for, Shopify, B2B and Joor. Can store as many images here under 800KB.
Care	Care code for your care instructions	Can store care label codes against each garment which holds the care instrcution Can build custom care labels which can be sent to the maker Can store care label images per label code.
Weight	The mass of the product, often used for shipping purposes.	Important field use for couriers determining weight when using Shopify information, 3PL integration / Shipping integration like StarShipIt or Shippit
Negotiated Buy Price	The agreed-upon purchase price between buyer and supplier	Can store up to 4 potential buy prices against a product. If there is a good price, you can COMMIT it and then it will update the BUY PRICE based on your selection.
Del From / Del To	The delivery start and end dates for the product.	DEL FROM date is typically the SHIP DATE or the beginning of the delivery of a product DEL TO is typically your instore date. Both fields are just delivery windows. Typically start of the month to the end of the month.
Launch Date	The date the product becomes available for sale	Important to identify when a product will launch and be available in the store.
Exit Date	The date when the product is discontinued or removed from sale.	Date when a designer’s collection is no longer available in stores or online, usually after the season has passed. For example, a Spring/Summer collection would "exit" as the Fall/Winter collection takes its place.
Load Active PO#	The reference number of an active purchase order.	Shows all the active PO against a style.
Drop	Last active drop number product appeared in	Used to describe the release of a new style, collection, or limited-edition product. Can enter in JAN, FEB, MARCH or can enter DROP 1, DROP 2 etc Typically used for excel order forms and b2b. This particular field will appear there once data is entered.
HS Codes	System codes used for product classification in international shipping	Used on the commercial invoice Shopify integration Shipping intergrations such as Starshippit/Shippit Used with 3PL’s also
Country of Origin	The country where the product was manufactured	Important to identify the origin of the product manufactured, usually use in labeling. This field pulls from the MAKER > COO field. If this is appearing on the maker, then it should be available on the assigned product.

There are also 14 custom drop downs you can use to enter any extra data you may need.
