Make Inactive or Dropped Style

There are three possible statuses: active, inactive, and dropped.

Active: The default status for a style you are currently selling.

Inactive: Removes it from all portions of the system, including the line. You can always look for it if necessary, but it will not surface in every report.

Dropped: have exceptional powers; check below for details.

How to make the style Inactive

  1. Search for the style that you would like to remove in the line

  2. Point the mouse pointer in the Style image

  3. Right-click on the Style

  4. Select the Change Status

  5. In the pop-up, change the status to Inactive

  6. Save the changes

Note : If you do this in the style it will No longer show in the line. 

How to make style Drop

If you want to make the style DROPPED status.

  1. Search for the style that you would like to remove in the line

  2. Point the mouse pointer in the Style image

  3. Right-click on the Style

  4. Select the Change Status

  5. In the pop-up, change the status to Dropped

  6. Save the changes

The pop-up screen will display the SO list of styles that would be affected if the style is dropped. You can also select an option to drop the whole style or just drop a specific colour. Click continue.

A pop-up screen will indicate where it will send a email notification for the dropped style.

This gets used if the style color is not available for sale in warehouse; you will be unable to place an order using the color or style but this does not mean style is inactive.

If the style is already in the order but the stock is still unavailable, you could use the drop status to exclude it from the total cost and invoice it separately from the other style.

 

This is how the style looks on the sales order for the style that has been dropped.

It will mark the style as dropped (red font) and also change the units to 0 for that style and color.

Please note that if the style is on a purchase order, you will need to manually remove it from the purchase order.
