Web Pick tab

This tab is used to load the web orders that have been assigned to the Pickers.
Please check Web Pick and Pack module (PC) > For Picking Tab guide how to assign orders to specific pickers.

Web pick are divided into 2 types: Single picks and Multi picks.

Single picks are orders with a pick quantity of 1. Multi picks orders are orders with a pick quantity more than 1. 

The picking method differs on the trolley being used. Single picks require only a single bin basket or trolley. Multi picks require a trolley with multiple bins to separate orders out.



You can select which pick type by selecting the drop down in Pick Type.



  1. Single picks

In single picks you are able to select to pick orders that are open or specifically assigned to you by selecting the drop down in Assigned To.



  1. Single pick “Open” orders

With this mode, you can load single pick orders that is currently in For Picking that have not been assigned to anyone yet.



Field to be filled in when loading open orders:

Zone: specific Bin location area that you wish to pick from. This can be left Blank If you wish to pick from all locations. If “A”is entered, All open orders in Bin location starting with “A” will be loaded.



Max orders: how many orders you wish to pick.



Bin Number: the bin number for the bin you are using for picking. This will be entered when packing orders in PC.





[Cancel unpicked order] (red) button can be used if you want to clear the loaded orders that haven’t been picked yet. Common situation where this can be used is when you loaded the wrong zone, or loaded more than the available bin quantity.



Once you have complete picking all the item required, you will need to press [Complete Pick] (green) button and the orders then can be assigned to a packer to pack. Without completing Pick, the orders will stay in the iPad, thus cannot be assigned to any packers.

 

  1. Single pick Assigned to me orders

Once specific single pick orders have been assigned to a specific picker, you can load the orders by toggling Assigned to dropdown as “assigned to me”





After inputting the the Max Orders, and your Bin Number, you can Load the orders assigned to the specific picker. Pick process and completing pic is the same as Single Picks Open orders.

 

 

  1. Multi picks

Multi picks  are orders with pick quantity more than 1pcs per order. Loading Multi pick orders can only be done after the orders have been assigned to a specific Picker.



The first time you are picking with a new trolley, you will need to map out the trolley you are using with Add new bin button and [Add new Row] button. If your trolley consist of 16 bins, you will need to map them out accordingly, so that you can assign the orders to the bins.



Once you have mapped out the trolley, you will need to Scan the bin numbers that are attached on the trolley by pressing the [scan bin numbers] button. Bin position A1 (top left) will be mark in orange colour and after scanning the bin number, the system will automatically move to bin A2 and so on. The bin number must have asterisk * at the beginning of the bin number.

This bin number will be used to pull up a specific order packing orders in PC.



If you have named the bin wrongly, you can amend the bin number by pressing on the 



If you have named the bin wrongly, you can amend the bin number by long pressing on the specific bin. 

 

Once all bin have its own bin numbers, you can assign orders to the bins by clicking on the [Assign Orders to Bin] button. 





  1. Multi pick (Standard)

The standard multi pick Pick Type are the most common pick type used for a single storey flat warehouse.



Once the orders are assigned to bin, it will show which warehouse bin location to pick the style from.



Once the item is picked and scanned, the system will let you know which bin to place the item. 

Once everything is picked, press [Complete Pick] (green) button to complete the pick. And assign orders to a packer in PC.



  1. Multi pick by section

Multi pick by section pick type is commonly used if your warehouse have multiple sections that are on different levels. To use this function, you will need to Assign sections the bin locations to specific sections. Check How to assign section to bins for Multi Pick - Sections guide.



Case example: the picker have 10 orders assigned to them in total, 6 orders in Ground level section, 4 orders are in Basement where the trolley cannot reach easily.



You would complete the pick for that 6 orders in Ground level using Standard Multi Pick method and Pick the Basement section orders using A temporary bin.



The flow would be:

Assign orders → pick Ground level → open multi pick by section screen → filter section → enter Temporary bin number → load orders → pick orders accordingly → Move styles to temp bin orange [Move to Temp bin] button → Open Standard Multi pick section → scan and move styles from Temporary bin and insert to corresponding bin in Muti pick trolley → Complete pick

 

To start picking in a specific section, select the Multi Pick - Section in the Pick Type Drop down.



Select the bin Section you want to pick from, enter the temporary bin number and Load the orders.

You will see the styles available for picking from that section listed on the screen.

After picking, press orange [Move to Temp bin] button so the system knows you have moved the styles into the temporary bin and now ready to insert them to the Multi pick trolley in the corresponding bin location.



Notice in Multi Pick (Standard) screen that the Bin location changed From *B-1-1-3 changed to *tempbin.



Once all items in your temporary bin is scanned into the Multi pick trolley bins, you can Complete pick and assign the orders to a packer.

 

Find Another Bin

When the system brings you to a specific bin location, but physically the item is not existing, or there are issue with the bin, you are able to find another bin by swiping on the order and select from one of 3 options:

  1. Remove inventory from Bin

This is used when you want to clear off the bin inventory for the specific style.

  1. Mark bin as issue

This is used when you do not want to clear off the bin inventory for the specific style and require the manager to further investigate this.

A bin issue list will be populated in PC under Packed Tab.

  1. Just find another bin

This is used when you just wan to find another bin with more quantity. By default, the system will allocate bin with the least quantity.



 

  • Marked as picked function

When doing web pick, you are able to mark specific item as picked. This can be used in case the barcode for the style has fallen off, not clear or any other reasons.

 

  • Automatic clearing of multi-pick trolley bin number after completing pick.

You are able to use this function if you are taking the bins off your trolley after every picks and loading new set of bins to your trolley. You can access this in from the Web pick and Pack - For Picking tab, maintenance screen.
