For Picking Tab
The for picking tab is the starting point of the Web Pick N Pack module.
On this tab you can see an overview of orders that are outstanding and which are not yet picked.
This tab is used to assign orders to your team for picking.
Reviewing and filtering your orders
The top section allows you to search for orders that are ready to be picked or orders which have an issue.
Orders are split into two categories
Singles: Order with only 1 pcs item per order. These orders will be picked in batch.
Multis: Order with more than 1 pcs items per order. These orders will be picked in bulk and sorted to your trolley.
Alongside the order type and pick method that will be used the orders are also classified as:
Good to go - The order is ready to be picked
No bin - The order will be displayed in red and does not have a bin location assigned. It can not be picked.
Split orders - Stock is to be delivered from multiple locations, these may be blocked from picking in your system
On Hold - The order has been placed on hold and can not be picked
Cannot fulfill - Not all items on the order can be fulfilled, this must be resolved before the order is released for picking
Address issue - The address has been checked and is not accurate, this must be resolved prior to picking
When reviewing your orders the search can be made more specific
This can be narrowed down to a specific customer, order number, comment, style, shopify tag or GS1.
Each of the filters on the black bar also allow you to narrow the search further to display a specific order. The most commonly used here are Pack and Country.
Turbo select
In a lot of cases you will use the same search criteria again and again.
Turbo select allows you to save this criteria and to prioritise the type of orders that are most important so they can be assigned first.
The filters can be set up here
Priority - Determines the display order on the desktop and iOS app
Name - The name of your filter
Show - If selected the filter will show, if not it will be hidden. Any filters with no active orders are hidden every 15 minutes and reactivated when new orders are placed.
Turbo mode - This is used for singles and it will prioritise order based on the number of times a bin location is allocated. By selecting orders based on the bin locations you will reduce the travel time of the team and will increase your efficiency.
Assigning orders for picking - Using the app
The most efficient way to assign orders is through the Web Pick N Pack iOS app.
This allows the team to continually select the next batch of orders that needs to be picked.
This is done through the Web Pick tab.
The default ‘Turbo select’ here is Oldest first as this will ensure that customer orders are picked on a first come first served basis.
All other turbo selects will be displayed in the order that you setup and will only show if there are active orders.
Orders allows you to select how many orders you will be picking.
Bin number / Trolley is the single pick bin or the multi pick trolley that will be used.
Assigning orders for picking - Using the desktop
To assign Single orders on the desktop:
Select single
Select who will be picking the orders
