Linkly Integration (PC-EFTPOS)

 

  1. Linkly software should first be installed on POS computer. The appropriate software will depend on the type of terminal. Usually this is the standard install option. This can be downloaded from:

https://www.linkly.com.au/resources-support/software

2. Once installed please go to the system tray and click the capital C (in yellow) and the below application will appear called Linkly Client GUI.


3. The next step is to get some basic information and enter that into the Indigo8 POS to get it working:

  • Client IP Address - can be found in the below section.

  • Port Number - (2011 is likely the appropriate port to set it to on the Linkly Client GUI)
    To manually set the port to 2011, unselect the ‘Use Default Port' setting and change the Port to 2011 and Apply

  • COM PORT - typically set to TCPIP

Click CONTROL PANEL (far right hand side)

  • Merchant ID - as seen below

  • Terminal ID - as seen below

 

3. From the POS, the Linkly Integration can be selected via the Settings > Tax & Payments screen

  • Tick the checkbox to “Use Linkly Integration”

  • Insert Client IP Address, Port Number, Merchant ID, Terminal ID

  • and finally, tick the checkbox in the integration column adjacent card payments
