In Indigo8, there are three (3) style statuses:
Active: The default status for a style that is currently available for sale.
Inactive: Hides the style from all parts of the system, including the product line. It can still be found if needed, but it won’t appear in standard reports.
Dropped: Has unique functionalities—see below for more details.
How to make the style INACTIVE
Search for the style that you would like to remove in the line
Hover over the style image with your mouse pointer
Right-click on the Style
Select the Change Status
In the pop-up, set the status to Inactive
Save the changes
Note : If you do this in the style it will No longer show in the line.
How to make style DROPPED
Search for the style that you would like to remove in the line
Hover over the style image with your mouse pointer
Right-click on the Style
Select the Change Status
In the pop-up, set the status to Dropped
Save the changes
The pop-up will display a list of Sales Orders (SO) that will be affected. Choose whether to drop the entire style or just a specific color. Click Continue to finalize the change.
A pop-up screen will indicate where it will send a email notification for the dropped style.
This is used when a style color isn’t available for sale in the warehouse. You won’t be able to place an order for that color or style, but it doesn’t mean the style itself is inactive.
If the style is already in an order but stock is still unavailable, you can use the Dropped status to exclude it from the total cost and invoice it separately from the rest of the order.
This is how the style looks on the sales order for the style that has been dropped.
It will mark the style as dropped (red font) and also change the units to 0 for that style and color.
NOTE: If the style is on a purchase order, you will need to manually remove it from the purchase order.
