Below outlines the steps needed for a stock take please ensure that all styles have a barcode on the product.
On the black bar click WAREHOUSE
Click the button that says STOCK TAKE. The below pop up will appear
Select the warehouse that you want to stock take and then select the green button there NEW STOCKTAKE
3. There are 2 types of stock take:
FULL STOCK TAKE means whatever is scanned in a single stock take will replace and update accordingly. For example, say you had 200 pcs in your warehouse and if you have scanned 20 pcs on this screen using this option, it will change your stock to be 20 pcs.
Please be super careful when using this option. We recommend that you run an EAN report as a backup in case something goes wrong and need to update your stock to the previous version.
CYCLE STOCK TAKE replaces only the styles scanned. For example, if you have scanned 2 styles, when using this option it will only UPDATE the quantities for the 2 styles - the rest of the stock in that warehouse remains untouched.
Select SAVE on the option you want to select
4. Once the option is selected scan your first barcode in the barcode field.
The count on the right should increase.
Keep repeating this process until your stock take is completed.
If you have accidentally scanned too many times, change your scan mode to - and it will the the count based on how many times you scan. The final result should look like the below:
5. Once finished, click CLOSE on the screen.
You will be taken to a screen below. Your newest stock take will appear at the top with a number such as ST-00679.
Make sure you run a report so you can see any variances.
6. Select your stocktake and click COMPLETE if you are ready to complete your stocktake.
Click UPDATE STOCK QTY’S NOW and wait for the screen to load.
The status should then change to COMPLETED as per below.
7. To double-check everything went well click REFRESH and if you select FULL STOCKTAKE the pieces should update accordingly. Otherwise run a stock on hand report to check the quantities accordingly.
That’s it! Well done!
On another note: If you wanted to complete your stock take over a few days just ensure your stock take is set to OPEN. Then if you need to open it just select the stock take on the left and click LOAD STOCK TAKE
and it should open it up as per normal.
