Importing Stock into the Warehouse

Below is a step by step guide on how to import stock into the warehouse.

1. Open Warehouse and click on Reports

2. Select 'Import Inventory’ from the side menu.

3. Select the Warehouse you need to import stock into. The dropdown list will populate all the warehouses you have created.

4. Select File to: Select the format of your file you will be importing. We suggest using 'GS1 Code and Qty'. You can download an example that will provide you with columns needed to complete the import.

To select your file, click ‘Browse File’. Your file myst be in csv or txt format.

5. Select Options - there are 3 different options:

  1. Option 1 - This option deletes all current inventory in the warehouse you have selected at the top of the screen and imports the inventory you have populated in your file.
  2. Option 2 - Use this option if you want to add stock ONTOP of your current inventory levels. *Note: if your stock levels are in the negative i.e -2 and the file says +2, the final stock count for that size will be 0.
  3. Option 3 - This option deletes current inventory and imports the new inventory levels within your file for the specified styles. The other styles in the warehouse will not be affected.

6. Load File  - This button will load your file into the warehouse.

7. Print Variance Report - this report will tell you what has been added in the warehouse.

8. Commit New Stock Levels > Import - you are confirming what you have imported is correct and you do not need to make any amendments.
