There are 2 important ID’s in the system that link up the system with Shopify.
These ID’s appear when a product is exported to Shopify.
Product ID
Right click the product in website updater & select VIEW SHOPIFY PRODUCT ID
The below screen will appear which will tell you the ID
When you open the Shopify product page you will be taken to this screen.
Take notice of the URL at the top of the screen. See how there is an ID at the end of the URL
As you will notice this matches directly into the system.
If you notice these ID's are not the SAME but should be, you can quickly update it:
Simply highlight the ID and then paste that in the box below
Click SAVE once done
Varient ID
This is the ID that connects the product in the system with Shopify which is per SKU/BARCODE.
This must be unique and has to be an exact match. If this isn’t an exact match the inventory wont get updated and also wont get added to the orders.
Right click the product and click VIEW SHOPIFY VARIENT ID
Notice the Colour, Size, GS1 Codes and VARIENT ID.
Green = exact match and working
Red = not an exact match and issues
If the VARIENT ID is not an exact match this is what you can do to update it:
Locate the product in Shopify and open it up
Scroll down and locate the first EDIT button for size 28 and
3. You will notice at the end of the Shopify URL is a long string of unique numbers.
The last portion of the URL is the SHOPIFY VARIENT ID.
Highlight it and copy it
Go back into the system and paste it in
Make sure you HIT enter on your keyboard to lock in the change so the option does not become a textbox.
As a final step, please also make sure you click SYNCH VARIENT
This will turn the VARIENT ID that you have pasted turn GREEN
