Below are the steps for adding HS codes in the system.

How to enter HS codes manually:

  1. Go to product search and select the line

  2. Once your line has loaded click on the Bulk Pricing button in the bottom left corner

4. The HS code can be typed or pasted into the HS code field. You can also use the Copy button and click Paste if the HS codes are the same

How to import HS codes using excel:

Note: If you already have an excel file with the STYLE NUMBER and HS codes, then you don't need to do this step. Please look at the instruction below on how to import HS codes.

The report must not be broken down by SKU or BARCODE but just STYLE NUMBER.

  1. Go to the Product Search screen and search for your line

  2. To make sure all items in the collection are selected, tick the box next to Select All. This will automatically tick the box next to each style in your collection.

  3. Once all the styles have been selected, click on Style Export Builder. This will open as a new window.

    Click STYLE EXPORT BUILDER
    Drag STYLE NUMBER to the middle column
    Click EXPORT top right
    Click OPEN FILE

4. Once the EXCEL file is open add a new column called HS CODES & enter all the codes onto the excel.
Save the excel file to your desktop. You are ready to import!

How to import HS codes

  1. Go to product search and click STYLE IMPORTER (at the bottom left of the screen)

  2. Select the LINE

    1. Select UPDATE EXISTING STYLES and please tick UPDATE HTS CODES (super important!)

    2. Drag your excel in the first column called IMPORT FIELDS - you will see the column headers from your excel file

4. Click IMPORT once done

  1. Once the Style Export builder is open you can then drag Style Number across to the Export Fields column from the list of field options and press the Export button.

  2. Once the file has been exported it will open as an excel file with all the style numbers listed. You will need to add a new column called ‘HS Codes’ so that you can enter the code for each style.

  3. Once you have filled out the HS Codes save the file to your computer and you are ready to import.

Importing HS Codes:

  1. Go to the Product Search screen and select Style Importer at the bottom of the screen and it will open in a new window.

  2. As you are wanting to update information on exisiting styles, select the Update Existing tab.

  3. To update the HS Codes only, click on the drop down on step 2 labelled ‘What Will You update’. Here you can see all the fields available to update. Select HTS Codes.

  4. Once you have selected HTS Codes from the drop down you will then need to drag the excel file you prepared earlier across to the Style Import Import Field. Simply open up the file location and drag and drop the file.

  5. When you drop the file into the Import Field it will populate the headings on the excel e.g. Style Number and HS Codes. You then just have to drag these headings into the Field Matcher and match them to the available Import Fields on the right.

  6. Once everything is matched you are ready to import. Select the green Import button down the bottom of the screen.

  7. Once the codes have successfully updated it will let you know the amount that were successfully imported with a pop up window.

  8. Once successful, click into BULK PRICING > QUICK ENTRY > to review the HS CODES have been imported.
