Step-by-Step

The product List View enables the user to enter in information en mass, against an entire line.

To 1. To view this screen, open Product Search

    • is selected, your product will appear as below. Here you can see the necessary components needed to create a style.

    Editing your products

    Step 1. Search for your Line > Select and select all styles using the top check box

    Step 2. Click on Edit to the right of your screen:Image Removed

    Step 3. All fields have now become editable. You can start to enter the information as required.

    Step 4. Once all information has been input, select Save (green button top right of screen).
    The information would have been saved and will look as per below.

    Each Field Explained

    ...

    Style: The top line is your Style DescriptionName. The second line is the style description. 

    ...

    Brands: This is the brand of the style. If you have more than one brand in your business, you have the ability to add it in against the style. This is helpful for reporting 

    Markers: This is the supplier maker or manufacture of your the product.

    Product: This is the product type, we help you create these at the start of your implementation. This is also helpful for reporting

    Buy/Whole/Retail Pricing: The pricing entered in these columns relate to your base Trading Entity, in this case it is AUD. If you have more than one Trading Entity, you will need to populate these prices in the Bulk Pricing. I.E if you have different trading entities for Myer or David Jones.

    Colours: A first cell will appear for you to add in a colour, to add in another colour, have your curser in the first colour and hit enter tab on your keyboard.

    Copy & Paste Feature

    • You will see ‘copy'

    ...

    • and 'paste’ button underneath each style in columns Brands, Supplier, Product and Size.

    • This function enables you to copy the populated information

    • and paste it to as many other styles as required.

    • For example, if your line is made by one supplier, you can use the

    • instead of selecting the supplier for every single product. 

    Edit Visible Fields 

    We also have the ability to amend the fields that are available for you to edit, depending on your business needs. In this example we have selected Brand, Composition and Main Fabric. 

    Other fields that are used often are Web Site Description and Web Site Images, these are further explained below.

    To add in website images, click on the +. The below scree will appear, here you can drag and drop your web images for each colourway.

    Your web description will also appear if this has been entered in.

    Click on the '+' in this column to update your website description. The advantage of using this field, is that if you have multiple websites linked with Indigo8, this will feed through to all. You will not then need to go into each website and update the description.

    C2A Feature

    The C2A button will appear at the bottom of the screen when in edit mode. When you press this button it will copy data to all styles listed in that column. It makes the process of filling out the fields even more effecient than the Copy & Paste Feature alone.
